The 1970s
The 1970s was a hugely significant decade for the development of football shirts. During this period, football shirts began to bear manufacturer’s branding and shirt sponsorship for the first time.
The decade also happened to be the most successful period in the Rams’ history with two Championship titles, a Texaco Cup and a place in the European Cup semi-final occurring in this golden era.
